After a number of well-attended taster sessions at the end of the 2023 season, Sedgwick Cricket Club officially launched a Ladies team for the 2024 season.
Meg Lewis has been the driving force behind the Ladies Team with over 25 players registered and taking part in training sessions on Monday evenings.
Sedgwick Ladies play competitive league and friendly softball and hardball matches (T12, T20 and Super 8s format) against teams from across Cumbria and North Lancashire including Carnforth, Bare, Barrow, Dalton, Lancaster, Silverdale and Netherfield.
We are always happy to welcome new players, either those with experience or anyone wishing to try cricket for the first time. In the first instance, please email Meg Lewis to register your interest and find out more about joining Sedgwick Ladies – we’d be delighted to have you join us!
